Editing CIFS general properties
You can modify CIFS general properties, such as server description, CIFS session idle timeout, snapshot access mode, and maximum concurrent operations.
About this task 
You can modify the following options in the General tab of the CIFS window.
•
Server description
•
CIFS session idle timeout
•
Concurrent operations
•
Snapshot access mode
Steps 
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.
2.
Under the selected host storage system, click Configuration > Protocols > CIFS to display the CIFS window.
3.
If the appropriate tab is not displayed, click Configuration.
4.
Click Options to display the CIFS Options dialog box.
5.
If it is not already displayed, click General.
6.
Make the necessary changes in the dialog box.
7.
Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
8.
If you would like to apply your changes and keep the dialog box open, click Apply.
